Many people are seen losing temper on the many issues. They feel just helpless as far as controlling anger is concerned. Loss of temper, in fact, is a sign of weakness. It shows one’s inability to contain oneself. One screams, shouts and gets indignant when one is angry and all these things are done by one to gain one’s ends by having one’s way. Just as children throw tantrums to obstruct intervention with his desires and whims and gain concessions, adults behave the same manner when they lose the temper. Loss of temper is most of the times a mask for the feeling of inferiority and the sense of inadequacy.

Anger can be termed as a temporary mental derangement that makes one blind to reason, loyalty, decency, duty, honor and common sense. The fist step towards anger-management is not to find excuses or justify yourself. Try to know the underlying reasons. There are a few important questions you should ask yourself and try answering them honestly such as how, why and when did you lose your temper last, could it have been prevented in anyway, what did it accomplish, who was involved, could another outburst be brought on by the same circumstances or conditions and would you like it to happen again.
In case you wish to get rid of this habit of anger which is formed gradually, there are 5 steps you can take up to chop at this habit consistently and steadily:

1) Give your outburst no chance to get started by knowing the root cause of it.

2) It will help you to curb your anger once you start visualizing these anger outbursts as a sign of immaturity, an indication of weakness, as the humiliating display of a fool and as a mark of irresponsibility.

3) It is important to look for extenuating circumstances in times when you want to condemn, accuse or speak your mind freely.

4) People who are easily enraged fail to notice the tell-tale sign of danger. Such people should ask others or friends to hoist the signal for danger for them.

5) One way to manage the anger by putting yourself on probation and dissipate as soon as you see any of the provocation of anger.

You can be overtaken by a wish of asserting yourself but the show of bad temper is not desirable at any time. Follow these simple tips before bad temper turns your life upside down.

Have you ever felt that you end up arguing about something else that has nothing to with the initial topic of the discussion? Well if that happens quite often to you then you have to realize that you need to manage your anger as you end up hurting people’s feeling. There are many reasons for which people may react that way in any given situation and one of them is sharing your feelings with others.

It is a very common thing that people are more bothered about what happened to them earlier in the day than what‘s gonna happen next? People have this tendency of lingering to a particular reason of anger or cause of disappointment long enough to make others unhappy about the fact as well. It is very important that you learn to shed off the things that have been there in your minds for long.

There are many ways of expressing yourself and staying calm and composed. We are just discussing the three most well tested anger management programs.

Write Down your Feelings: It is very important to write down your feelings on a piece of paper, while writing down something you have to make it a point that you write everything that makes you angry at that point of time.

Speak Out: It is very important to keep your nerve while you try this solution. You have to make sure that you say the right words in the right way.

Hold to Your Emotions: Watching pets or water filled glass jar is a very important way to make you calm and composed. It always helps you lower the tempo of your head which goes haywire while you are in anger.

Trying these three methods together or in a gradual manner can help you manage your anger like never before.
