Low Back Pain-Causes and Treatment

Most of the people suffer from this problem. Low-back pains are common musculoskeletal disorders are very painful. The back pain has crippling effects on the human body and distracts your attention from doing work. The imbalance in the muscles surrounding the lower back will cause pain and may vary in various ways, such as: muscle strain, slipped disc etc. The pain increases when you make more movements.

The causes of low-back pain are mainly muscle strains and stress to the nerves and ligaments as well. It can also be caused due to an improper or uncomfortable mattress. A sudden injury to the back due to an accident or a fall can cause low-back pain. The symptom is usually acute pain in the lower back, which does not heal even after a couple of days. Once you have some pain in the lower back, it is better you consult your doctor.

The best way to treat a low-back pain is consulting your doctor. You can quickly get rid of the back pain through proper medication and rest. Lesser the strain imposed on the lower back, the faster you can get rid from it. Do a few stretching exercises (Yoga) to feel better. If you are suffering from the pain for a longer time, then the doctor might insist you to undergo a surgery. Follow a few precautions when you have back pain, such as: sleeping with a pillow under your knees and between your knees while lying on one side. Stay active and remember, if you follow these precautions, you can heel low back pain pretty quickly.

Follow certain preventive measures to avoid low-back pain, such as:

  • Do not lifting any item by bending over it.
  • Pushing the item is better than pulling it.
  • Have proper sitting, standing and waling posture.
  • Exercise regularly to avoid low-back pain.
