The detachable LCD is another attractive feature that lets you to take pictures at various angles, i.e. you need not always hold the camera in-line with your eyes just by pulling the LCD out and tilting it up or down. It can be held above or below your eye level and you can view what you want to capture even at such levels. The 26x optical zoom is another attraction in the P100. The BSS takes up to 10 shots but saves only the best shot or the clearest shot. The P100 has very sturdy and husky movie options compared to the earlier models. Movies can be recorded in full HD at 30fps with a resolution of 1920×1080. The zoom can be used completely even in the video capture. A stereo microphone is provided on the top of the camera and its working is pretty convincing.
