Treating Yeast Infection Naturally

Yeast infection is an infection caused by a fungus “Candida Albicans”. Many people suggest the natural method, since the artificial medicines have not shown much effect in treating yeast infection. Reports have shown that 75% of women suffer from this infection at some point in their life. The individual experiences a burning, swelling and itching sensation and reddishness in the affected area. The itchy feeling will make even walking very uncomfortable.

The infection occurs due to an imbalance of bacteria in the individual and restoration of the balance can be made by reintroducing the good beneficial bacteria inside the body. There are various ways of treating yeast infection naturally such as:

  • Natural Yogurt- It contains a large quantity of good bacteria and it can be consumed in plenty or applying on the affected area will help in the treatment.
  • Oregon grape and Barberry- It contains Berberine, which is an alkaloid compound that is proved to fight the growth of fungal and helps improve the growth of friendly bacteria.
  • Apple-Cider Vinegar-Since vinegar is acidic, it controls the yeast. By bathing the area with a cup of vinegar added to warm water will cure this infection.
  • Garlic- Raw garlic is anti fungal. It can be consumed directly or the crushed cloves of garlic can be applied to the affected area.
  • Tea Tree Oil- It has high antibacterial properties and can be used for many ailments. Apply this oil on the affected area.

There are other ways by which the yeast infection can be cured. It can be done by drinking plenty of pure cranberry juice and maintaining good hygiene should have the highest priority. There are certain capsules that are used to maintain the yeast levels in the body. All said and done, the natural way has been proved as the best way to fight yeast infection.
