Yoga For Healthy Life

Every one needs a flat stomach. No one likes a stomach burdened with a pile of flat. Yoga helps us have a strong stomach. The abdominal muscles have the complex structure taking care of various actions in our body. The muscles play an important role of supporting the load of the spine apart from protecting cavities. It is true that people are concentrating on treating the sides of the abdominal muscles rather than its main functions.

The abdominal wall consists of a single unit with four major muscles including the rectus abdominis, external oblique, internal oblique and transverse abdominis. The complete unit works for a healthier human life. For the external muscle to look tough, the muscle fiber should be shorter than normal. The muscle needs the elasticity and the length to move freely. It is not than muscle should appear that tough as seen in a photograph of a bikini model bodybuilder.

Urdhva Padasana (Upward Extended Feet Pose)

This is the gentle movement with the breath. This will actually help us improve our movement mechanics in a way that we would not even expect. This Pose stimulates the abdominal muscles especially the lower muscle. This seemingly simple movements are truly well worth taking time to work on.

Vasisthasana (Side Plank Pose)

This Pose strengthens the arms and the spine. It is good preparation for more challenging arm balances.

Setu bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge Pose)

This asana apart from the stimulating the abdominal organs has various other benefits such as improving digestion, alleviating stress and mild depression.
